What We’ve Been Doing in Writing – Hailstones & Halibut Bones

The following is a brief video on what we’ve been doing in writing regarding poetry the last couple of weeks.  We have been investigating and working on four different kinds of poems, as well as using four different types of writing “tools”.  I’ve also been sharing with students a poem a day from Mary O’Neill’s “Hailstones and Halibut Bones” – one of my favorite poetry books.  Enjoy!  (keep an eye out for Fluffy Steve)
